“Travel is the only thing you buy that makes you richer.”

Traveling is something that I have been passionate about ever since I took my first international trip almost 30 years ago. I worked after school making $3.35 an hour to earn enough money to travel to France after graduation with my French club and teacher. As a person who hadn’t seen anywhere outside my rural hometown, it was like a whole new world was opened up for me. Ever since, I’ve been an insatiable travel junkie.

My purpose in creating this blog is to keep track of my travels and to offer insights and tips to other travelers. Additionally, the blog will contain reviews of restaurants from travel and recipes inspired by them. Over the years, friends have suggested that I write a blog, but I’m not very tech savvy. Consequently, I kept putting it off. With my next trip to Italy and France quickly approaching, I finally decided, “What the heck? Just do it!” So…..here I am, learning as I go.

Look forward to my first “real” post later this week “You Want Me to Do What??? 25 Days in Europe with Only a Carry-on.”
